Dr. Dylan Billings is a Visiting Assistant Professor who received his Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma and his Bachelors in Political Science from the University of Central Oklahoma. His research focuses on a broad range of issues related to political behavior and public opinion, specifically on the role of information in the political decision making process. His dissertation looked at the role of economic information in the formation of opinions on several economic issues and even presidential approval.
Currently, he is working on projects related to the effects of social media on political knowledge, the long-term political effects of childhood poverty, and the effect of economic perceptions on support for immigration.
